Where to train Cooking
The best free to play spot to train cooking is located southwest of our home area in the Hosidius house. Utilizing the ;;shops command, select the hosidius option, and enjoy the fancy range a couple tiles from the bank.
Platinum+ donators have access to the top floor of the Donator Zone which allows them access to the best place to cook. This range provides the same benefits as the Hosidius Range, however it is only 1 tile away from a bank. This range is located in the Hunter section of the top floor, as shown in the picture below.
Training Cooking (Method #1)
Levels 1-20
Shrimps / Anchovies are slightly less experience than sardines, but also have a lower burn rate. Early level training is so quick that these slight details do not matter as much.
Levels 20-35
Trout will be the best experience you can manage at this level alongside having the lowest burn rate. It should only take a few successful Trout before reaching level 35.
Levels 35-93
Jug of Wines will be the best experience in the game until reaching level 93. They do not require cooking gauntlets, only the combination of grapes and jugs of water.
Levels 82-93
Anglerfish will be the best XP in the game, as well as are compatible with the Cooking Gauntlets bonus, making them the best option to finish off the 99 cooking grind.
Training Cooking (Method #2)
Levels 1-20
Shrimps / Anchovies are slightly less experience than sardines, but also have a lower burn rate. Early level training is so quick that these slight details do not matter as much.
Levels 20-30
Trout will be the best experience you can manage at this level alongside having the lowest burn rate. It should only take a few successful Trout before reaching level 30.
Levels 30-50
Salmon are not a major difference compared to Trout, but noticeable enough to the point where it's worth changing since we'll be cooking these until level 50.
Levels 50-61
Tuna will be cooked up until level 61.
Levels 61-82
Lobster, although fishable at level 40, is only worth cooking at level 61 due to its significantly decreased burn rate.
Levels 82-93
Monkfish will be a fairly long grind until we move to Anglerfish at 93. However, these are pretty decent for food so saving up a stack is never a bad idea.
Levels 82-93
Anglerfish will be the best XP in the game, as well as are compatible with the Cooking Gauntlets bonus, making them the best option to finish off the 99 cooking grind.
