==Money Making== | |||
<p> | |||
Making money is very important due to the variety of shops Ironmen can access outside of the custom home shops. Ranging from early game gear, food, runes, and other useful tools it is important to have the funds required to purchase these items. | |||
</p> | |||

===Thieving=== | |||
ThievingUsing the fishing stalls east of home, different tiers of fish can be stolen and sold to Dodgy Derek for XP and a profit. Stalls include: | |||
*Fish Stall (Trout) | |||
*Fish Stall (Swordfish) | |||
*Fish Stall (Monkfishh) | |||
*Fish Stall (Shark) | |||
*Fish Stall (Anglerfish) | |||

===Slayer=== | |||
<p> SlayerSlayer is arguably the most important skill an Ironman can train. Progressing this skill will result in the passive accumulation of combat XP, resources, better gear and <u> Money</u>. The following are the main reasons why slayer is such a good form of money making: </p> | |||
<ul> | |||
<li> <u>Alchables:</u> Casting the High Alchemy spell on most items will convert that item into an amount of coins. Notable alchables received from slayer include: Armor pieces, weapons, jewelry and more. </li> | |||
</br> | |||
<li> <u>Slayer Resource Crates:</u> Click here to view the table for the slayer resource crate and you will understand why they are so strong. These crates drop at a 1/128 chance for any slayer monster on task, the odds decrease to 1/64 when a ring of wealth (i) is equipped. /li> | |||
</br> | |||
<li> <u>PVM / Bossing:</u> Slayer is the quickest path to follow towards end game PVM. Whether your plan is to go straight towards level restricted content such as Cerberus (91 Slayer) or Alchemical Hydra (95 Slayer), or to just train combat efficiently for other challenges, slayer is a one-way street towards any goal on the PVM spectrum. </li> | |||
<br> | |||
</ul> | |||
===Hunter=== | |||
<p>For Ironmen, HunterHunter is a beneficial skill for one primary reason: Implings.</p> | |||
<p> Implings offer a plethora of obtainable loot that will fill your pockets in no time.</p> | |||
<p> Catching the 3 main implings: Crystal, Dragon and Kingly will almost always result in either instant profit or have a practical use in the future of your account.</p> | |||

===Voting=== | |||
*You can start this by simply typing <b><u>::vote</b></u> you will be met with the voting screen asking you to vote on 5 separate websites. | |||
*Once you've managed to get to this screen make sure to vote on all 5 of the websites provided (<u>be aware that one of the websites require you to login to vote, the easiest way is to just link your discord</u>). | |||
*Once you have voted on all 5 websites you can now use the <b>::claim</b> command (<u>only at home</u>) and you should be met with your total count of votes at the top you can spend and some goodies you can spend those vote point on | |||
*Spending your vote tickets can look like an endeavor with all the choices however, for money's sake your best option is to buy crystal keys. These will net you a lot of GP as well as random items. For spending your vote points, if you're a gambler you can choose the boss drop boxes, if you're more cautious choose the gold relic. | |||

| |||
===Squeal of Fortune=== | |||
Go to the bottom of your screen and click on the wheel icon and you should be brought to a screen for Squeal of Fortune. Spins can be acquired through boss drops and logging in daily. | |||
| |||
===Agility Pyramid=== | |||
Agiliy Pyramid is a great way to get some early game GP and train Agility at the same time. Simply go to the Teleport Nexus at ::home go to the skilling tab, click agility and then agility pyramid should be the first option. After completing one lap and claiming the Pyramid Top at the top of the pyramid, you can use them on Simon Templeton for 250k gp. | |||

==Supply Gathering== | |||
<p> | |||
Due to the inability to trade other players, resources such as food, skilling supplies, and more are important to gather out early on to better prepare you for future endeavors. The following resources are especially difficult to obtain as an Ironman, followed by some tips on how to effectively farm them: | |||
<br> | |||
===Herb Seeds=== | |||
Herbs are incredibly important for creating potions such as overloads, prayer potions, saradomin brews and more. On Zeah, our master farmer only has 27 possible seed drops, allowing players to effectively thieve him for hours without the use of a bank. It is encouraged to train agility prior so you can thieve multiple actions in one single pickpocket. | |||

Optional Progression Guide
Money Making
Making money is very important due to the variety of shops Ironmen can access outside of the custom home shops. Ranging from early game gear, food, runes, and other useful tools it is important to have the funds required to purchase these items.
- Fish Stall (Trout)
- Fish Stall (Swordfish)
- Fish Stall (Monkfishh)
- Fish Stall (Shark)
- Fish Stall (Anglerfish)
- Alchables: Casting the High Alchemy spell on most items will convert that item into an amount of coins. Notable alchables received from slayer include: Armor pieces, weapons, jewelry and more.
- Slayer Resource Crates: Click here to view the table for the slayer resource crate and you will understand why they are so strong. These crates drop at a 1/128 chance for any slayer monster on task, the odds decrease to 1/64 when a ring of wealth (i) is equipped. /li>
- PVM / Bossing: Slayer is the quickest path to follow towards end game PVM. Whether your plan is to go straight towards level restricted content such as Cerberus (91 Slayer) or Alchemical Hydra (95 Slayer), or to just train combat efficiently for other challenges, slayer is a one-way street towards any goal on the PVM spectrum.
- You can start this by simply typing ::vote you will be met with the voting screen asking you to vote on 5 separate websites.
- Once you've managed to get to this screen make sure to vote on all 5 of the websites provided (be aware that one of the websites require you to login to vote, the easiest way is to just link your discord).
- Once you have voted on all 5 websites you can now use the ::claim command (only at home) and you should be met with your total count of votes at the top you can spend and some goodies you can spend those vote point on
- Spending your vote tickets can look like an endeavor with all the choices however, for money's sake your best option is to buy crystal keys. These will net you a lot of GP as well as random items. For spending your vote points, if you're a gambler you can choose the boss drop boxes, if you're more cautious choose the gold relic.
Thieving
Using the fishing stalls east of home, different tiers of fish can be stolen and sold to Dodgy Derek for XP and a profit. Stalls include:
XP Per | GP Per | ||
---|---|---|---|
Perfect Trout | 698 | 2,000 | |
Perfect Swordfish | 1185 | 3,000 | |
Perfect Monkfish | 1863 | 4,000 | |
Perfect Shark | 3810 | 7,500 | |
Perfect Anglerfish | 6773 | 10,000 |
Slayer
Slayer is arguably the most important skill an Ironman can train. Progressing this skill will result in the passive accumulation of combat XP, resources, better gear and Money. The following are the main reasons why slayer is such a good form of money making:
Hunter
For Ironmen, Hunter is a beneficial skill for one primary reason: Implings.
Implings offer a plethora of obtainable loot that will fill your pockets in no time.
Catching the 3 main implings: Crystal, Dragon and Kingly will almost always result in either instant profit or have a practical use in the future of your account.
Voting
Squeal of Fortune
Go to the bottom of your screen and click on the wheel icon and you should be brought to a screen for Squeal of Fortune. Spins can be acquired through boss drops and logging in daily.
Agility Pyramid
Agiliy Pyramid is a great way to get some early game GP and train Agility at the same time. Simply go to the Teleport Nexus at ::home go to the skilling tab, click agility and then agility pyramid should be the first option. After completing one lap and claiming the Pyramid Top at the top of the pyramid, you can use them on Simon Templeton for 250k gp.
Supply Gathering
Due to the inability to trade other players, resources such as food, skilling supplies, and more are important to gather out early on to better prepare you for future endeavors. The following resources are especially difficult to obtain as an Ironman, followed by some tips on how to effectively farm them:
Herb Seeds
Herbs are incredibly important for creating potions such as overloads, prayer potions, saradomin brews and more. On Zeah, our master farmer only has 27 possible seed drops, allowing players to effectively thieve him for hours without the use of a bank. It is encouraged to train agility prior so you can thieve multiple actions in one single pickpocket.
Sanfew Serums
Sanfew Serums are a glorified prayer potion, combining the properties of a Super Restore, Superantipoison and Relicym's balm potions. Slash Bash is a very easy beginner boss that can be killed with just Protect from Melee (43 ). His notable drops include Ourg Bones and Sanfew Serums at a 1/12 rate. Larran's Keys
Alternatively, grinding out Larran's keys is a really good way for ironmen to get food. Larran's keys are received randomly from Wilderness Slayer Tasks. These keys can then be used at the Larran's Big Chest, which is where a huge assortment of food and other good drops are obtained. The food offered include Sharks, Manta Rays, Sea Turtles, Anglerfish, and even Saradomin Brews and Super Restores. More details on the Larran's Big Chest are found HERE.
