Lava Flow Mine

The Lava Flow Mine is one of the most important locations of Keldagrim, being the main source of the dwarven city's power supply. It is run collectively by the Consortium and overseen by Foreman Jaak. It is a place for players to train Mining quickly without gaining ores (though gems may be acquired) and by pleasing the Liquid Gold Nymph, players may attain pieces of the golden mining suit.

The Lava Flow mine can be accessed via the Nexus.

Playing the Game

Every 4-7 minutes the flow rates change; you will receive a message in your chatbox when this happens. The segments next to the one with 50% flow will have 60% flow, and the next segments 70% flow and so on. This can help in finding the best segment to mine. You want to mine the segment with 50% flow, as this will reward the most XP.

Gold Nymph

• The nymph will appear randomly while you are mining and will offer you either a piece of the armor set you do not have, or to trim a pickaxe in your inventory
  • The nymph WILL disappear if she is not talked to after a couple minutes

Boilers

• They occasionally break, anywhere between 30 seconds to 10 minutes. Only one boiler can be broken at a time.
• They require between 70-90 smithing to repair, and give roughly the same XP as a small lamp.
• This is a good passive way to train smithing once you have made it into the 80s, as you will be able to repair most of the boilers that break.
