The Dragon defender can be obtained by killing cyclopes in the Warriors Guild. The defenders are obtained in order, Bronze through Dragon. A Rune defender can be obtained through the Vote Shop allowing you to skip most of the grind.
The Dragon Defender can also be purchased for Blood Money from Mandrith.
It is used in the creation of the Avernic defender.
