The Darklight is a demonbane weapon that is created from the sword 'Silverlight'. When using Darklight to fight any demonic creature, the player's maximum hit is increased to approximately the same level as a dragon longsword; however, its accuracy remains the same. Against any other monster that is not classified as demonic the Darklight is very underwhelming. However, it's main use is not in combat but as an ingredient in the creation of Arclight.
How to Obtain
The Darklight can very easily be purchased from Sir Prysin, in the south western portion of Varrock Palace for 500gp.
