Welcome to the Zeah Starter Guide! Click "Expand" to view section content.
- First and foremost... Welcome to Zeah RSPS. There's a TON of fun content ahead!
- Our slogan is Play Your Way, so it goes without saying that there's no one correct way to progress.
- That said, this page aims to give new players tried and true methods to get going towards achieving common goals.
- Note: Help installing Zeah can be found here. Ironmen can checkout this page for an IM-focused start.
- Upon logging in your first time, you will be prompted to choose 3 important account details (in red caps below) ...
- 1. MODEL: The Character Creator interface is easy to use, giving the player arrows to choose a character model.
- 2. GAME MODE: Next, the player selects from 1 of 7 Game Modes to vary their experience (see .gif):
- Considerations for selecting your Game Mode:
- (Note: A player can later downgrade an account. Such as Master to Normal, via NPC at ::home)
- Do I want to be able to trade & level VERY fast, but have a low Luck Rate (drop modifier)? — Go with Normal
- Do I want to be able to trade & have a medium Luck Rate, but a slow level progression? — Go with Master
- Do I want to play solo & trade-restricted & slow XP & medium Luck & costless deaths?
- (Same as #3), but I want to play in a group with my friends with a shared bank?
- Do I want to play #3, but without the ability to bank, the hardest game mode?
- Do I want to play solo & trade-restricted & slow XP & high Luck & ONE LIFE ONLY?
- (Same as #6), but I want a death-limited group with my friends with a shared bank?
- Do I want to be able to trade & level VERY fast, but have a low Luck Rate (drop modifier)?
How do I get around Zeah or to my slayer task?
- The TP Nexus in northern ::home, will be your best way of getting around in Zeah as a beginner.
- To get to the TP Nexus, use ::home command then walk directly north and click on the rotating object to pull up the TP interface.
- In the interface, on the bottom left, there is a search option that will allow you to quickly select your correct destination.
- You can also type in an NPCs name, and it will bring up the majority of locations those NPCs are located, very useful for slayer.
- You can favorite places you frequently travel to, and can access your favorites by clicking 'Favorites' or via the F Hotkey.
How do I make money (GP) on Zeah?
- For starting GP you have many options, but a general progression would be:
- Thieving (Fish Stalls) ➤ Slayer / Black Chins / Cannonballs ➤ Hosted Events
- Each of these are outlined below.
- Thieving
- To begin, you will want to head east at ::home to the Piscarilius house thieving stalls.
- These stalls are both decent enough XP/hr while outputing pure cash (see image for each tier).
- As soon as possible, it is recommended to begin thieving two stalls back-and-forth.
- Doing this method between Anglerfish (90) & Shark (75) yields excellent GP/hr to get you going.
- Black Chins
- Catching Black Chinchompas (lvl 73 Hunter), 5 at a time, can be lucrative on Zeah.
- To begin, type in "Black Chins" or "Wilderness Hunter Area" in TP Nexus.
- This is in level 33 wilderness, so only take what you're prepared to lose.
- The player can set up more traps than in the rest of the game in the wilderness.
- Slayer
- The main Slayer wiki page: here, and the main Slayer Tasks wiki page: here.
- You can get to the slayer masters west of home via the ::slayer command.
- Slayer is a straightforward skill: Get a task, teleport to monsters (see Getting Around section), kill monsters, get Slayer Points & loot, finish task & repeat.
- While on task, you have the chance to receive a Slayer Resource Crate, which can be very lucrative!
- If on task from Konar, Nieve, Sumona, Duradel or Kuradal (SW of ::home) you can receive Brimstone keys, which opens the Brimstone chest.
- If on wilderness tasks from Krystilia (NW of ::home), you can receive Larran's keys which open Larran's big chest at the Pirate's Ship in level 56 wilderness.
- WARNING: Opening Larran's Big Chest is among the most dangerous activities on Zeah!
- Events
- Come socialize and join us in our wide range of activities!
- You are eligible to roll the rare loot table if you deal 1+ damage at all PvM Events.
- While not as consistent as the above mentions, you could strike it rich!
- One event to never miss is Party Demon, accessed by ::pd command
- The Party Demon always drops a Gold Relic Token, a VERY powerful tool in your PvM progression!
What activities could I do to boost my progress?
- First and foremost --- VOTE! --- via ::vote, first option.
- Voting increases our server's exposure while giving you a plethora of VERY useful rewards.
- Vote tickets are used at the Vote Shop, for items like Rune Defender (5 vote tickets, skipping defender grind)...
- Vote tickets can be sold to other players as well.
- Votes can also be used to purchase random daily Gold Relics or Boss Boxes.
- Other Pro-Tips:
- Stay logged in, as you gain loyalty points passively, to spend on powerful auras. Vampyrism STRONGLY recommended!
- Use your daily spins via the Squeal of Fortune interface to gain more supplies / GP.
- Complete tasks to unlock Silver Relics (permanent relics) with very helpful abilities.
- Kill Bork & Skeletal Horror daily for slayer XP, charms, and other resources.
- Attend Staff-hosted events, such as the Party Demon (::pd) to massively boost your progress / potential loot.
How would I go about reaching max level?
- Many players wonder how they can progress their accounts quickly to max level (2475).
- One tried-and-true way to accomplish this is to rush a Full Slayer Helmet (see image below).
- It is recommended that you unlock Charming as one of your first Silver Relic unlocks during this Slayer progression.
- Furthermore, Dungeoneering is STRONGLY recommended to acquire chaotic weapons, which are incredible. Link to wiki: Dungeoneering
- More information on relics found here: Relics. Charming auto-collects your charms while slaying, which helps with Summoning!
- Via this method...
- By 99 Slayer, the player should have roughly enough supplies to make major gains towards the 99 grind, if not funding buyables 100%.
- Once the player has: a Full Slayer Helmet, Vampyrism aura (Loyalty Tokens), Gold Relic Tokens (Party Demon), and decent midgame gear (see above section)...
- The player should comfortably be in a position to do midgame PvM. Fight Caves & Inferno are also within reach given a few items.
- Should you acquire enough GP along the way, a blowpipe is among the best and most versatile weapons on Zeah and is your ticket to the midgame.
