Starter Guide
First and foremost... Welcome to Zeah RSPS. There's a TON of fun content ahead!
Our slogan is Play Your Way, so there's no one correct way to progress.
This page aims to give new players methods to get going towards achieving common goals.
Note: Help installing Zeah can be found here. More info for Ironmen can be found here.
- Upon logging in your first time, you will be prompted to choose three things...
- Do I want to be able to trade & level VERY fast, but have a low Luck Rate (drop modifier)?— Go with Normal
- Do I want to be able to trade & have a medium Luck Rate, but a slow level progression?— Go with Master
- Do I want to play solo & trade-restricted & slow XP & medium Luck & costless deaths?
- (Same as #3), but I want to play in a group with my friends with a shared bank?
- Do I want to play #3, but without the ability to bank, the hardest game mode?
- Do I want to play solo & trade-restricted & slow XP & high Luck & ONE LIFE ONLY?
- (Same as #6), but I want a death-limited group with my friends with a shared bank?
Perhaps focus on Herb & Farming, such as instantly noted herbs while House Aura active?
Maybe focus on Fishing & Thieving, such as auto cooked fish while House Aura active?
Possibly focus on Craft & Smith, such as coal-less smithing while House Aura active?
Finally, might you focus on Slayer, such as auto NPC aggression while House Aura active?
The TP Nexus in northern ::home, will be your best way of getting around in Zeah as a beginner.
To get to the TP Nexus, use ::home command then walk directly north and click on the rotating object to pull up the TP interface.
In the interface, on the bottom left, there is a search option that will allow you to quickly select your correct destination.
You can also type in an NPCs name, and it will bring up the majority of locations those NPCs are located, very useful for slayer.
You can favorite places you frequently travel to, and can access your favorites by clicking 'Favorites' or via the F Hotkey.
- Some mobility considerations...
- Relics will be discussed later, but as a peek ahead:
- Last Recall, the only permanent Gold Relic, gives the player the Crystal of Memories.
- This item, costing 10,000 Achievement Points is STRONGLY recommended to unlock first, as it provides a right-click option to access Nexus anywhere.
- Relics will be discussed later, but as a peek ahead:
For starting GP you have many options, but a general progression would be:
Thieving (Fish Stalls) ➤ Slayer or Black Chins, while attending Hosted Events
Each of these are outlined below.
- More methods coming soon...
- The main Slayer wiki page: here, and the main Slayer Tasks wiki page: here.
- You can get to the slayer masters west of home via the ::slayer command.
- Slayer is a straightforward skill: Get a task, teleport to monsters (see Getting Around section), kill monsters, get Slayer Points & loot, finish task & repeat.
- While on task, you have the chance to receive a Slayer Resource Crate, which can be very lucrative!
- If on task from Konar, Nieve, Sumona, Duradel or Kuradal (SW of ::home) you can receive Brimstone keys, which opens the Brimstone chest.
- If on wilderness tasks from Krystilia (NW of ::home), you can receive Larran's keys which open Larran's big chest at the Pirate's Ship in level 56 wilderness.
- WARNING: Opening Larran's Big Chest is among the most dangerous activities on Zeah!
- Catching Black Chinchompas (lvl 73 Hunter), 5 at a time, can be lucrative on Zeah.
- To begin, type in "Black Chins" or "Wilderness Hunter Area" in TP Nexus.
- This is in level 33 wilderness, so only take what you're prepared to lose.
- The player can set up more traps than in the rest of the game in the wilderness.
- Come socialize and join us in our wide range of activities!
- You are eligible to roll the rare loot table if you deal 1+ damage at all PvM Events.
- While not as consistent as the above mentions, you could strike it rich!
- One event to never miss is Party Demon, accessed by ::pd command
- The Party Demon always drops a Gold Relic Token, a VERY powerful tool in your PvM progression!
- Some activities allow the player to progress much faster than normal.
- Try these methods out, as they add up quickly!
- Some ideas to speed up your account progress...
- First and foremost --- VOTE! --- via ::vote, first option.
- Voting increases our server's exposure while giving you a plethora of VERY useful rewards.
- Vote tickets are used at the Vote Shop, for items like Rune Defender (10 vote tickets, skipping defender grind)...
- Vote tickets can be sold to other players as well.
- Votes can also be used to purchase random daily Gold Relics or Boss Boxes.
- Completing Daily/Weekly Challenges, found in Dailies in the Quest Tab, offers GREAT rewards!
- Zeah Challenges Interface:
- (1200 Loyalty Points) Re-rolling a task randomly chooses another task instead
- (2400 Loyalty Points) Extending a task gives 2x rewards.
- Skipping a skip will still give you the reward as if you had completed it.
- Zeah Challenges Interface:
- Task Rewards:
- Completing Daily challenges (3 given each day at server reset) will reward you with 500k gp, 2x spin tickets, and 1x Huge xp lamp.
- Completing Weekly challenge will reward you with 10m gp, 2x challenge skips, and 1x Starved Ancient Effigy.
- Task Rewards:
- Challenge Chests:
- Completing 3 daily challenges allows you to claim a chest from the interface which can give you:
- Reaper Slayer tomes to choose your task
- Mystery/Pet Perk boxes
- A range of server enhancement tokens that can buff your gameplay amongst a range of other great rewards!
- Note: As you complete more daily challenges in a row, you start to receive more of these chests and on a streak of 7 you'll receive 3!
- Completing 3 daily challenges allows you to claim a chest from the interface which can give you:
- Challenge Chests:
- Other Pro-Tips:
- Stay logged in, as you gain loyalty points passively, to spend on powerful auras. Vampyrism STRONGLY recommended!
- Use your daily spins via the Squeal of Fortune interface to gain more supplies / GP.
- Complete tasks to unlock Silver Relics (permanent relics) with very helpful abilities.
- Kill Bork & Skeletal Horror daily for slayer XP, charms, and other resources.
- Attend Staff-hosted events, such as the Party Demon (::pd) to massively boost your progress / potential loot.
Relics are powerful buffs to enhance your gameplay, unlocked with Achievement Points via completing Tasks
There are two types of Relics: Silver (permanent) & Gold (temporary*)
Only Last Recall, unlocked with 10k AP, is a permanent Gold Relic
The Relics Interface can be accessed through two ways:
- Quest Tab > Achievement Panel > Relics OR
- Equipment Tab > Relic (see left image)
Swapping between Gold/Silver Relics:
- Here are the breakdowns for the two types of Relics...
- Silver Relics provide permanent powerful bonuses and a list of them can be found here.
- You can only buy each relic once, and once it's purchased, you'll never lose it.
- You can have any number of silver relics activated at any given time.
- Silver relics are unlocked through the use of 'Silver Relic Tokens' (SRT), which are earned as you complete achievement tasks.
- You'll receive one SRT every time you reach a total task completion milestone.
- While you'll earn SRTs quite fast in the early-game, the rate at which you accumulate them slows down as you earn more.
- Gold Relics provide temporary, game-changing buffs and a list of them can be found here.
- You can buy as many of each relic as you'd like, but once activated, they are on a timer (5 to 60 minutes).
- You may only have one combat gold relic active at a time, but as many others active as you want.
- Note that staff often host events and activate Gold Relics!
- Many players wonder how they can progress their accounts quickly to max level (2475).
- One tried-and-true way to accomplish this is to rush a Full Slayer Helmet.
- One possible route to max, while opening up midgame slayer quickly...
- Firstly, the Full Slayer Helmet is purchased with 400 Slayer Points (from doing consecutive tasks) + Hexcrest + Focus Sight.
- It is recommended that you unlock Charming as one of your first Silver Relic unlocks during this Slayer progression.
- Furthermore, Dungeoneering is STRONGLY recommended to acquire chaotic weapons, which are incredible. Link to wiki: Dungeoneering
- More information on relics found here: Relics. Charming auto-collects your charms while slaying, which helps with Summoning!
- By 99 Slayer, the player should have roughly enough supplies to make major gains towards the 99 grind, if not funding buyables.
- Once the player has: a Full Slayer Helmet, Vampyrism aura (Loyalty Tokens), Gold Relic Tokens (Party Demon), and decent midgame gear (see above section)...
- The player should comfortably be in a position to do midgame PvM. Fight Caves & Inferno are also within reach given a few items.
- Should you acquire enough GP along the way, a blowpipe is among the best and most versatile weapons on Zeah and is your ticket to the midgame.
