Wilderness Death Mechanics
- Items dropped on the ground in the wilderness will now behave the same as OSRS. If the player dies to other players, all tradeable items will only be visible to the player who dealt the most damage for one minute. If the player dies to a monster, they are visible only to the victim for a minute. After this, all other players can see the dropped items for 59 minutes.
- If an ironman kills another player in the wilderness, the loot will be visible for all other players to loot.
- Items that have charges or degrade will now be broken when killed and dropped to your killer. These items include:
- - Nex gear.
- - Barrows equipment.
- - Zulrah items (drops uncharged variants, scales and darts. Mutagen helms will drop as Uncharged Serpentine helms.
- - Abyssal tentacle will drop as kraken tentacle.
- - Abyssal vine whip will drop as whip vine.
- - Bracelet of Ethereum, Craw's bow, Viggora's chainmace and Thammaron sceptre will drop the uncharged variant with ether for each remaining charge.
- - Volcanic and Frozen whips will now drop a regular whip. Ornament kits are lost.
- - Colored Dark bows will now drop regular dark bows. Ornament kits are lost.
- - Avernic defender will only drop an Avernic hilt.
- - Neitiznot faceguard will only drop a Basilisk jaw.
- - All imbued rings and Tormented bracelet (i) are now tradable and dropped on death.
- - Many ornament kitted items have now been made tradable and will be dropped on death. Check the GE before risking something that previously was untradeable.
- - Holy and Sanguine variants of ToB weapons will now drop the normal weapon version for killers, while the ornament kits will be dropped to the player who dies.
- - Twisted ancestral pieces will now drop normal ancestral pieces to the killer, ornament kits will be dropped to the player who has died. They must run back and pick them up.
- - Nightmare staves are now tradable instead of needing to be disassembled to trade. This means they will now drop if killed by a player.
- The following items are untradeables that are broken or lose charges, but are now able to be retrieved within 60 minutes:
- - All Chaotic and Gravite items will drop broken (repair at Daemonheim).
- - Arclight will drop as Darklight and have to be recharged.
- - Killing a player in Fungal, Grifolic and Ganodermic pieces will now drop the equivalent number of flakes based on how many charges remained on the equipped item.
- - Attempting to drop a charged item will now prompt the player for confirmation if it will degrade fully when dropped.
- - Larran's keys will now be dropped to your killer if you die with them in the wilderness.
- - Salve amulet (ei) will now drop an imbue scroll if it's lost in the wilderness.
- - Amulet of blood fury will now drop the blood shard if a player dies with it in wilderness.
- - Swift/goliath/spellcaster gloves will now vanish if dropped in wilderness.
PVP Mechanics
- Apply hit reduction effects (like prayer) on hit launch rather than hit impact (you will no longer be able to protect from an attack while the projectile is travelling in the air).
- Add eating mechanics to be in line with OSRS combat.
- After eating food, a 3 tick delay will only be added if you are already in combat.
- Players can now instantly attack targets after eating food if they had not attacked their target prior to eating.
- Fixed the entire wilderness following singles-plus mechanics, this was only meant to be revenant caves.
- A bug causing players to skull when another player attacked their summoning familiar has been fixed.
- When leaving the wilderness damage counters that are used to calculate who receives a kill are now reset.
- Skulls will update in the wilderness based on player killstreak. Updates every 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 kills.
- Range accuracy in PvP has been significantly buffed, an incorrect modifier was being applied to target ranged defence.
PK Tournaments
- Both players will now receive a new loadout if a double death occurs in PK tournaments.
- You will no longer be able to gain XP in PK tournaments.
- All players can now activate Rigour and Augury in PK Tournaments.
Magic Changes
- Remove Tome of Fire buff from Flames of Zamorak spell
- Add Tome of Fire buff to Fire strike spell.
- Autocast spells will now reset when attempting to attack while autocasting a spell on a different spellbook.
- Staff will no longer disappear while autocasting modern magic spells (excluding surge spells).
- Trident of the sea (e) and Trident of the swamp (e) will now properly cast their respective spells.
- Toxic and Staff of the dead can now cast Flames of Zamorak.
- Staff of Light can now cast Saradomin Strike.
- Staff of Balance can now cast Guthix Claws.
- Magic projectiles times hit ticks are now variable based on distance, previously they were fixed to 2 ticks after launch regardless of distance.
- Corrected spell graphics + projectiles for the Polypore Staff.
- Spells will no longer appear above NPCs if you are 1 tile away.
- Added the correct barrage projectile for ice flying to the target.
- Freeze spells will now have 5 ticks immunity between freezes.
- Corrected projectile heights for snare spells.
- Alchemy spells no longer lock player (interrupting actions or stalling damage).
- Volatile nightmare staff special attack has been capped at 80 damage.
Herb Sack Addition and Master Forager Silver Relic Rework
- Implemented Herbicide - Automatically destroy herb drops for herblore XP. Herbs which will be destroyed are able to be toggled on and off.
- The Silver relic 'Master Farmer' has been changed to 'Master Forager'. Having this relic active will automatically pick up grimy herbs or add them to an open herb sack in the players inventory.
- Herb sack added - Herb sack can be bought from the slayer rewards shop.
- Herb Sack can store a variable amount of each type of herb based on donor rank as follows:
- Silver 30
- Gold 45
- Platinum 60
- Xeric 75
- Elder 90
- Ancestral 105
- Twisted 120
Equipment Changes
- MSB (i) now correctly uses 50% special attack energy.
- Charged wilderness weapons are no longer tradable.
- Imbued rings, tormented bracelet (i) and many ornament kit items are now tradeable.
- Implemented missing items which should provide god protection.
- Attractor and Accumulator now require appropriate range levels to equip.
- Corrected messages while woodcutting referencing equipped weapon vice hatchet being used.
- Slayer helms can now be created with both a charged and uncharged black mask.
- Zaryte Vambraces are now searchable in the Grand Exchange.
- Rune pouch will no longer be deleted upon death event.
- Elite void now requires level 42 in combat stats as opposed to level 80 to match OSRS.
NPC Changes
- Ancient fungi can now be interacted with to spawn Ancient Zygomites.
- Fixed damage delay for General Graardor range attack.
- Steel titan combat stats have been buffed.
- OSRS Tzhaar NPCs now have drop tables.
- Normal smoke devils are no longer able to be attacked while on a Thermonuclear Smoke Devil reaper task.
- Corrected a variety of rabbits stats. It appears they have been trying to be a bit too much like their Prifddinas cousins.
- Corrected Item ID for Dragonstone and Onyx bolt tips in Dusk drop table. Incorrect IDs to be swapped for correct ones on login.
- NPCs within the wilderness GWD now respect god protection.
Object Interations
- Fixed ladder interactions in desert bandit camp.
- Fixed interactions of stairs and ladders within Falador.
- Fixed fire orb creation at the Taverly dungeon fire obelisk.
- Fixed creation of death, law, soul, and nature talismans at their respective altars.
- Rowboat at the ammonite crabs can now be used to travel to the small island north of Fossil island for the clue scroll step.
- Removed agility level requirement from final obstacle of wilderness agility course to allow escape if teleported in via clue teleport and agility is less than 52.
- Fixed ladder to exit Yanille wizard guild basement.
Shops / Forge Changes
- Examining items that can be sacrificed to the forge will now print the Xeric's Fragments value next to the item description.
- Uncharged wilderness weapons are now able to be sacrificed in Xeric's Forge.
- The following items have had their forge value decreased:
- Dragon Boots
- Onyx Jewelry
- Whip Vine
- Abyssal Whip
- Dragon Hatchet
- Added the following to the Reaper Reward Shop:
- Rune Pouch
- Abyssal Whip
- Dragon Boots
Clues Changes
- Removed non unique items from clue scroll collection logs.
- All clues have had their standard tables modified. Each tier contains a tier of gear for each combat style alongside resources related to that clues level.
- Fixed many clue item which were not equipable and missing stats.
- Fixed purple sweets causing tradable items in players inventory from going invisible when they open their bank.
- Emote clues have been removed from potential clue scroll steps.
Relics
- Adjusted the color of loot collector's drop pickup on fixed mode.
- Improved grammar for the Charming relic chat box messages.
- Activating Last Recall with a full inventory will attempt to add the crystal of memories to players bank. If inventory and bank are full players will no longer lose their charge of Last Recall.
Chambers of Xeric
- Reward points will no longer be awarded for the following:
- Vanguards after healing
- Vespula NPC (points are from portal)
- Olm hands after being resurrected
Zombies
- Zombies minigame has been re-enabled.
- Halloween box has been removed from the reward shop, however the minigame can still be played to earn and unlock all other rewards.
- Removed Dragon defender from zombies collection log.
Fight Kiln
- Infernal pickaxe will now work in Kiln.
- Ironmen will now be able to pick up crystals in kiln.
Miscellaneous
- Evil Trees and Shooting Star messages will now be broadcasts (above chat box) vice game messages for better visibility.
- Increased client zoom distance by 25% and increased draw distance by 20%.
- Fixed blow kiss emote.
- Trounce the Trio task will now complete correctly.
- Entering skilling challenges in the abyss will now always be successful if you have at least level 85 in the corresponding skill. Chance to break through is now tied directly to level under 85 (level 80 mining will be an 80% chance to be successful)
- Fixed the King Black Dragon model within the teleport nexus.
- Fixed incorrect casing in total skill milestone achievement news.
- Fixed many instances of sleeves not hiding arms.
- Extended antifire potions will no longer repeat messages that your resistance is about to run at half the duration of the potion.
