Seren

  • The Crystalline Goddess has opened her portal within the gauntlet to allow players to face her.
  • Taking inspiration from the gauntlet, Seren offers several twists including no need to prep for the fight. That's right - just jump in and go!
  • This is a two part solo boss encounter, in which the arena, boss and your items shift as you enter phase 2.
  • Avoid the burning floor tiles, dodge the tornados, and perhaps you'll make it out alive.
  • Infoboxes have been added to assist in determining when to swap your prayers, or what combat style to use.
  • Upon defeat, Seren will drop a loot keys which are tradable, allowing you to either sell them or stack your drops!
  • Who knows, perhaps you'll be lucky and pull a Seren stone, used to create new crystal weaponry listed below (enticing common loot too!):
    • Blade of Seren - Made by fusing a Seren Stone with a Corrupted Blade of Saeldor, offering improved stats alongside the Crystal Armor buff.
    • Bow of Seren - Made by fusing a Seren Stone with a Corrupted Bow of Faerdhinen, offering improved stats and a passive 20% chance to fire an extra arrow.
    • Staff of Merethiel - Made by fusing a Seren Stone with a full Polypore Staff, offering its own unique built in spell and gfx.
    • We are looking to add crystal armor recolors as a milestone unlock for Seren KC. Example: 100 KC unlocks green, 200 unlocks purple etc.


Hespori Changes

  • Hespori has been overhauled after player feedback has been received.
  • The HP of the boss has been reduced significantly, and had several flower phases removed.
  • The damage from the special snare attack has been increased, hardcores beware.
  • The seed drops from hespori have been fixed, all effects should now be working correctly.
  • Iasor seed has been edited to provide a higher drop rate for purple rewards from ToB. Any member of the party who has the seed planted will apply this buff for the team, more listed below.
  • Corrected the Hazelmere Signet Ring, this will act as a best in slot luck ring, and give a passive bonus for a chance to skip clue steps.


ToB Changes

  • The rate for purples has been improved as follows:
    • Normal Mode 1/8 -> 1/7.
    • Hard Mode 1/7 -> 1/6.
    • If you have the Iasor seed active, the base will drop by one. For example if HM and Seeded: 1/6 -> 1/5!
  • The Scythe of Verzik has been overhauled. 2T scythe wasn't a proper way of handling a Scythe upgrade:
    • The Scythe of Verzik now has a passive effect of a 25% chance to deal an extra hit (4 hit splat), alongside improved stats overall.
    • A new special attack has been introduced for 50% energy, guaranteeing your next 5 scythe hits to always produce 4 hitsplats.
    • The Scythe will now always attack NPCs with 3 or more hits, regardless of size.
    • We are looking into creating a set effect for Blood Torva with the Scythe alongside other progression changes in an upcoming update. Check some of these out below that are coming this patch.


Equipment Changes

  • Nefarious equipment have had their consumption cost halved.
  • Reaper weapons are no longer nerfed outside of a reaper task. We are drafting ideas to expand these weapons and the reaper system.
  • Crystal armor will now grant 15% accuracy and 7.5% damage bonus to the Blade of Saeldor/Seren.
  • Corrected the attack range on the Bofa.
  • Corrected the venator bow gaining a buff with the use of bolts, and hits can no longer bounce off the same NPC in succession.
  • Removed the cap of 2 tick attack speed from Quickshot relic:
    • Blowpipe and knives/darts are back in their prime state.


Bug Fixes and Other Changes

  • Added a tool that allows us to modify vote streak and correct any mishaps.
  • Combat and max hit dummies are once again attackable.
  • Reduced Callisto's defensive stats.
  • Corrected the corrupted rangers magic level in Trios.
  • Added examine text on the new anima seeds to represent their effects when planted in the farming guild.
  • Reworked the formula for the drain rate on nefarious equipment.
  • Removed the HP level requirement on Zenyte Jewelry.
  • Fixed examines in the RC islands for each portal to an altar.
  • Sacrificial boat has been added within Zulrah instances.
  • Reworked the boss instance system for future expansion and customization.
  • Corrected the special attack restore rate.
  • Chambers of Xeric's resources can no longer be smuggled out of the raid.
  • Added chat commands for Normal and HM ToB
  • Reduced the cost of a handful of store items, alongside a store sale.
  • A new selection of items are available from the store including raid kits that have been widely obtained.

Future Content Preparations

  • Although not part of this update, the team has been working on a major system introduction to Zeah.
  • There has been a variety of items, maps and interfaces created for an all new upcoming expansion, with a good amount still left to cook up.
  • Players will face new challenges, unique content with plenty of twists and variation, alongside an all new progression path being introduced.
