The Ancestral hat is a rare reward from the Chambers of Xeric. It requires 75 magic and 65 defence to wear.
It can be further upgraded with a Twisted ancestral colour kit, which is a rare drop from Challenge Mode Chambers of Xeric.
The kit upgrade provides a slight increase to it's attack and defence stats, plus an additional 1% magic damage and prayer. This makes it best in slot headwear.
