The Fire cape is a powerful melee cape obtained by completing the Fight Caves on Zeah, or alternatively, by purchasing it from Mandrith for Blood Money. It was once considered the best-in-slot melee cape, but is now surpassed by the Infernal cape obtained from the Inferno.
Obtaining
Fight Caves
The primary method of obtaining the Fire cape is by defeating TzTok-Jad at the end of the Fight Caves minigame. This is a solo combat encounter where players face waves of TzHaar creatures, culminating in a challenging fight against Jad, who must be prayer flicked between Ranged and Magic attacks.
The Fight Caves are located in TzHaar City, which can be accessed from the Minigame Teleports menu on Zeah via the Home nexus.
Mandrith’s Shop
Players can also purchase a Fire cape from Mandrith using Blood Money. This offers a faster alternative for players who may struggle with the Fight Caves or prefer PvP content.
Cost: 5,000 Blood Money (subject to change depending on server rates)
Location: Edgeville, near the PvP zone
== Stats and Usage == The Fire cape offers strong defensive stats and a +4 strength bonus, making it a solid option for melee combat. It is widely used in PvM and PvP by players who have not yet obtained the Infernal cape.
Requirements
There are no level requirements to equip the Fire cape.
No Fire cape is required to access the Inferno on Zeah (unlike in OSRS).
Strategy Tips
Use sound cues or visual markers to react to Jad’s attack style switches.
Protect your safe spot tiles from enemies during earlier waves.
Consider using Ranged and Prayer potions to manage resources through the waves.
Trivia
The Fire cape has animated flames, which makes it visually distinctive from most other capes.
On Zeah, players can obtain multiple Fire capes through both PvM and PvP-related methods.
In OSRS, sacrificing a Fire cape is required to attempt the Inferno, but this is not the case on Zeah.
