Slayer Locked Account
The Concept
Slayer Drop Locked is a Snowflake Ironman mode in OSRS, restricting accounts to only picking up loot from monsters on their current Slayer Assignment. The endgoal is to reach 120 Slayer and obtain all uniques from all Slayer monsters in the game. Players typically choose the Ironman game mode to guarantee certain restrictions aren't breached.
Restrictions
Account Setup
- No donations.
- Gold Relics: Last Recall and Loot Collector are allowed, any others are forbidden.
- Ironman Gamemode
- Shayzien House
- Starting Inventory: Scimitar, Ironman Gear, House Aura, Anti-drag shield and gold relic tokens. ::Empty everything else.
Allowed Item Sources
- Clue Scrolls obtained on Slayer Assignments
- Global Vote Points - May be used freely.
- Keys or Caskets that were received on Slayer Task (including from Slayer Resource Caskets and Larran's Keys)
- Limited Shops: Pikkupstix (Summoning), Slayer and Blood Money shops
- Looting monster drops on Slayer Assignments
- Loyalty point exchange can be used for auras.
- Max Shop (Skillcapes)
- Quest Money, Crystal Keys and Gold Relics may be kept.
- Silver Relics
- Squeal of Fortune Spins (ONLY if tickets are obtained on task) - To not mix them up, use them daily, and discard the rewards.
- Xeric's Forge - No purchasing of anything other a Loot Collector Gold Relic. DO NOT Forge Barrows Gear or Godsword Shards.
Non-Allowed Sources
- Daily Login Rewards
- Obtaining items from Minigames. Graceful outfit & Graceful XP Bonus are allowed. No other skilling outfits.
- PVP Tournaments (Blood Money)
- Picking up item spawns
- Vote Shop items aside from Imbue scrolls (MSB, ROW, Ring), Gauntlets (cooking/gold/ice), Magic Secateurs, & Gold Relic Tokens.
Additional Information
- You can attend PVP tournaments, but Blood Money cannot be kept, only Rev tasks& Wilderness boss tasks for Blood Money.
- If the item is essential in unlocking a Slayer Monster, and not obtainable in any other means. You are allowed to gain access to the item.
NOTE: Items obtained from any of the allowed sources can be used in any desired way to process them into further materials, ingredients, upgrades or even to train skills.
For example:
- Slayer → A Pure essence drop on a Minotaur task can be used to craft runes and train magic
- Slayer → Clues received from a Cockatrice task can be completed provided that all required items are obtained within the rules
Woodcutting → An axe received from Slayer can be used to chop logs, but these logs cannot be turned into new items.
Fishing → A fishing net/pot/harpoon received from Slayer can be used to catch fish, but cannot be cooked into food.
Reaper Tasks
Reaper tasks have a few restrictions for the slayer locked account. If an item can be obtained organically through slayer tasks then players must receive that item through slayer. However, items that can only be obtained with reaper points OR cannot be obtained through slayer can be purchased. Examples included below:

- Ancient Staff - Obtainable from Thermonuclear Smoke Devil
- Annihilation / Decimation / Obliteration - Obtainable from Larran's Keys
- Black Mask - Obtainable from Cave Horror
- Brimstone Keys - Obtainable from Slayer Resource Crates
- Brimstone Ring - Obtainable from Alchemical Hydra
- Cerberus Crystals - Obtainable from Cerberus
- Dragon Boots - Obtainable from Spiritual Mages
- Focus Sight - Obtainable from Desert Strykewyrms
- Goliath / Swift / Spellcaster Gloves - Obtainable from Larran's Keys
- Hexcrest - Obtainable from Jungle Strykewyrms
- Kraken Tentacle - Obtainable from Kraken

Milestones
Some milestones 'unlock' the ability to buy and certain items that are typically unobtainable through slayer.
- Arclight - unlocked after receiving 3 Ancient Shards from slayer, while doing tasks in the Kourend Catacombs.
- Avas Accumulator - unlocked after receiving 50 ranged.
- Barrows Gloves - unlocked after completing a Dust Devil task.
- Crystal Equipment- unlocked after completing an Elf task.
- Defenders - able to be received through hill giant tasks.
- Dragon Scimitar - unlocked after completing a Bloodveld task.
- Elemental shield - unlocked after receiving 20 smithing.
- God Books - unlocked after getting all four pages from x book.
- God Capes - unlocked after getting 60 magic.
- God Staves - unlocked after completing a Battle Mage slayer task.
- Helm of Neitiznot - unlocked after completing a Dagannoth task.
- Iban's staff - unlocked after completing a Kraken or Barrows task.
- Ivandis flail - unlocked after receiving a Vyrewatch task (completion not necessary since you need the flail to damage these).
- Leaf Bladed spear - unlocked after receiving a Turoth or Kurask task (completion not necessary since you need the leaf weapons to damage these).
- Proselyte - unlocked after completing a Dragon slayer task.
- Ring of Wealth (i) - unlocked from Vote shop or Blood money shop AFTER crafting a Ring of wealth (materials must be received through slayer).
- Slayer staff - unlocked after completing a Barrows task.
Skilling Tips
You must know that Slayer Drop Locked only knows item-based restrictions. Training XP is allowed at all times, as long as any required items are obtained within the rules. So for example killing a monster outside a Slayer task is completely allowed, however picking up the items is not. You can always train an individual skill such as woodcutting, but you can't use the logs afterwards.
Agility
- Agility may be trained at any time.
- You are allowed to use the Graceful outfit as well as the Graceful XP buff.
Crafting
- Training of the crafting skill is allowed. But all supplies must be acquired from Slayer Tasks or Slayer Resources crates, Brimstone Keys, or Crystal Chests.
Dungeoneering
This will be your last skill, before maxing
Dungeoneering is locked behind 99, in every other skill. Since you're allowed to train combats, and skills inside of dungeoneering, you will not be able to level it until you have gotten a total level of 2376.
Farming and Herblore
- To gain access to Farming, you must rake and compost the patches to level 9, to be able to plant Guam seeds.
- Any seeds obtained via slayer task, may be used to train farming and herblore.
- All herbs from farming & slayer may be used to train herblore.
- All secondaries must be gotten on a slayer task, to make potions.
- Overloads and Prayer Restorations may be bought from Reaper Slayer Shop.
Fishing and Cooking
- Training of the fishing skill, is allowed after acquiring the proper bait.
- Training of the fishing skill, is only to be done via bait obtained from Slayer Tasks or Slayer Resources crates, Brimstone Keys, or Crystal Chests.
Hunter
- Box traps, Bird Snares, etc may be purchased from Ayleth Beaststalker at ;;gim
- Hunter may be trained, but any and all drops acquired must be dropped or ;;emptied.
Mining and Smithing
- Training of the mining skill, is allowed at any time. But all ores obtained must be dropped or ;;empty
- Training of the smithing skill, is allowed at any time. After you have acquired the proper resources from Slayer Tasks or Slayer Resources crates, Brimstone Keys, or Crystal Chests.
Runecrafting
- Pure Essence obtained from slayer, and may be used to process into runes at any time.
- Guardians of the Rift unlocks from Reaper Slayer Tasks.
Group reaper tasks are allowed when proper gear is obtained. Party has to be unique players without the use of alts to avoid leeching/alt boosting.
Thieving
May be trained, but all coins and items must be dropped or use the ;;empty command.
Summoning
- Training of the summoning skill is allowed. But all supplies, other than pouches and shards must be obtained from Slayer Tasks or Slayer Resources crates, Brimstone Keys, or Crystal Chests.
Woodcutting, Firemaking, Fletching and Construction
- Training of the woodcutting skill, is allowed at any time. But all logs must be dropped or ;;empty.
- Training of Firemaking, Fletching, and Construction is allowed at any time. But to process any logs further into resources all drops must be obtained from Slayer Tasks or Slayer Resources crates, Brimstone Keys, or Crystal Chests.
