Slayer Locked Account
The Concept
Slayer Drop Locked is a Snowflake Ironman mode in OSRS, restricting accounts to only picking up loot from monsters on their current Slayer Assignment. The endgoal is to reach 120 Slayer and obtain all uniques from all Slayer monsters in the game. Players typically choose the Ironman game mode to guarantee certain restrictions aren't breached.
Restrictions
Account Setup
- Ironman Gamemode
- Shayzien House
- Starting Inventory: Scimitar, Ironman Gear, House Aura, Anti-drag shield and gold relic tokens. ::Empty everything else.
- No donation ranks allowed, so it stays a "free gamemode" everyone can use.
- Gold Relic Usage: Only use of the Last Recall, and the Loot Collector Gold Relics are allowed to be used. Any others are forbidden.
Allowed Sources
- Looting monster drops on Slayer Assignments
- Clue Scrolls obtained on Slayer Assignments
- Keys or Caskets that were received on Slayer Task (including from Slayer Resource Caskets and Larran's Keys)
- Silver Relics
- Max Shop (Skillcapes)
- Limited Shops: Pikkupstix (Summoning), Slayer and Blood Money shops
- Squeal of Fortune Spins (ONLY if tickets are obtained on task) - To not mix them up, use them daily, and discard the rewards.
- Loyalty point exchange can be used for aura's.
- Xeric's Forge - No purchasing of anything other a Loot Collector Gold Relic. DO NOT Forge Barrows Gear or Godsword Shards.
Non-Allowed Sources
- Daily Login Rewards
- Vote Shop items aside from Imbue scrolls (MSB, ROW, Ring), Gauntlets (cooking/gold/ice), Magic Secateurs, & Gold Relic Tokens.
- PVP Tournaments (Blood Money)
- Picking up item spawns
- Obtaining items from Minigames. Graceful outfit & Graceful XP Bonus are allowed. No other skilling outfits.
Additional Information
- You can attend PVP tournaments, but Blood Money cannot be kept, only Rev tasks& Wilderness boss tasks for Blood Money.
NOTE: Items obtained from any of the allowed sources **can be used in any desired way** to process them into further materials, ingredients, upgrades or even to train skills. For example:
- Slayer → A Pure essence drop on a Minotaur task can be used to craft runes and train magic
- Slayer → Clues received from a Cockatrice task can be completed provided that all required items are obtained within the rules
Woodcutting → An axe received from Slayer can be used to chop logs, but these logs cannot be turned into new items.
Fishing → A fishing net/pot/harpoon received from Slayer can be used to catch fish, but cannot be cooked into food.
Reaper Tasks
Reaper tasks have a few restrictions for the slayer locked account. If an item can be obtained organically through slayer tasks then players must receive that item through slayer. However, items that can only be obtained with reaper points OR cannot be obtained through slayer can be purchased. Examples included below:

- Annihilation / Decimation / Obliteration - obtainable from Larran's Keys
- Zenyte Shard - obtainable from Demonic Gorillas (Black Demon task)
- Brimstone Ring - obtainable from Alchemical Hydra
- Abyssal Bludgeon - obtainable from Abyssal Sire
- Cerberus Crystals - obtainable from Cerberus
- Kraken Tentacle - obtainable from Kraken
- Trident of the Seas (full) - obtainable from Kraken
- Hexcrest - obtainable from Jungle Strykewyrms
- Focus Sight - obtainable from Desert Strykewyrms
- Black Mask - obtainable from Cave Horror
- Abyssal Whip - obtainable from Abyssal Demon
- Dragon Boots - obtainable from Spiritual Mages
- Brimstone Keys - obtainable from Slayer Resource Crates
- Larran's Keys - obtainable from Wildy Slayer
- Slayer Resource Chest - obtainable from any task
- Ancient Staff - Obtainable from Thermonuclear Smoke Devil
Milestones
Some milestones 'unlock' the ability to buy and certain items that are typically unobtainable through slayer.
- Barrows Gloves - unlocked after completing a Dust Devil task.
- Dragon Scimitar - unlocked after completing a Bloodveld task.
- Crystal Equipment- unlocked after completing an Elf task.
- Proselyte - unlocked after completing a Dragon slayer task.
- Leaf Bladed spear - unlocked after receiving a Turoth or Kurask task (completion not necessary since you need the leaf weapons to damage these).
- Ivandis flail - unlocked after receiving a Vyrewatch task (completion not necessary since you need the flail to damage these).
- Helm of Neitiznot - unlocked after completing a Dagannoth task.
- Defenders - able to be received through hill giant tasks.
- Avas Accumulator - unlocked after receiving 50 ranged.
- Elemental shield - unlocked after receiving 20 smithing.
- Ring of Wealth (i) - unlocked from Vote shop or Blood money shop AFTER crafting a Ring of wealth (materials must be received through slayer).
- Iban's staff - unlocked after completing a Kraken or Barrows task.
- Slayer staff - unlocked after completing a Barrows task.
Skilling Tips
You can always train an individual skill such as woodcutting, but you cant use the logs afterwards.
Herblore to be unlocked through brimstone keys. (guams) (You can buy ovls and pray restoration from reaper)
Thieving can be trained, but items received except gold has to be dropped. Farming unlocked by doing raking + compost until Limps (Buckets to has to be obtained through slayer. You can drop filled buckets and buy equal amount from general store as the empty option doesn’t work. Gotr unlocks from Reapers. Group reaper tasks are allowed when proper gear is obtained. Party has to be unique players without the use of alts to avoid leeching/alt boosting.
Skilling examples
You must know that Slayer Drop Locked only knows item-based restrictions. Training XP is allowed at all times, as long as any required items are obtained within the rules. So for example killing a monster outside a Slayer task is completely allowed, however picking up the items is not.
Slayer → A Pure essence drop on a Minotaur task can be used to craft runes and train magic Slayer → Clues can be completed provided that all required items are obtained within the rules Slayer → Keys like Brimstone & Larran that give rewards can be opened and the loot can be kept Slayer → Obtained loot can be processed at the Saw mill, Tanner, Rope store or any other service
Woodcutting → An axe can be used to chop logs, but these logs cannot be turned into new items. Fishing → A fishing net/pot/harpoon can be used to catch fish, but cannot be cooked into food. Mining → A pickaxe can be used to mine ores & essence, but cannot be forged into bars & runes. Hunter → A Box trap can be used to catch chinchompas, but cannot be used for Ranged ammo.
