Much like in OSRS and RS3, Pets are rare drops that you can acquire through a multitude of activities. When dropped, they will follow the player until they are picked up again.
Note: You do not need to insure your pets in Zeah. If you die with a pet following you, they'll remain behind you once you respawn.
If lost or dismissed, a player can reclaim the pet (in which was previously obtained) from the collection log by simply clicking on the pet and selecting yes on the retrevial Yes/no chat box screen.
Pets in Zeah are extremely beneficial, as you can upgrade your pet to have different pet perks, which are extremely useful and powerful.

List of pets
Boss pets
These pets are obtained by killing bosses, and usually resemble the monster that drops them.
Skilling pets
These pets are obtained by training a specific skill, with the chance of obtaining one being based on multiple factors.
For all drop rates, use the formula: DropRate = 1 in (50,000,000 * z) / (x * y), where
x = Skill Level (capped at 120†), or 200 if 200m XP
y = Base XP Gained per Action‡
z = Unique Pet Modifier
For example, if you were catching Red Chinchompas at Level 80 Hunter, the chance of getting the Baby Chinchompa pet would be 1 in (50,000,000 * 10) / (80 * 265), or 1 in 23,585 per catch.
† Virtual levels count for drop rate
‡ This is the action's base experience, without your account's XP modifiers applied
